Hey ladies!

I'm Courtney! Welcome to my world! I created this blog, Honeyy Embellishments, after my struggle was finally over. I struggled for years with acne, which affected my self-confidence. I knew I was beautiful; I just never wanted to take pictures or go out a lot because I thought people were looking at my face.

During my struggle, I still continued to look nice every day!!!! I looked in the mirror every morning before getting dressed and said, “Good morning Honeyy, you are beautiful, talented, and wonderfully made and remember……the sky is the limit!” I did my hair, my make-up, and threw on a cute outfit. I believe that this helped me overcome, what I thought defined me forever.

I still have mini-breakouts sometimes; however, I finally learned to embrace what I have. When you understand the concept that “when you look good, you feel good,” you’ll NEVER have a bad day! I NEVER compare myself to others because I am ME and not anybody else! I believe in me and love me no matter what. I wake up every day feeling confident and that my life finally has a purpose.

I believe that when you overcome a struggle, your duty is to encourage others and help people that may struggle in similar ways. I established this blog as a way to encourage others to dress like the queen you are no matter what! I promise to be dedicated to posting as often as my time allows.
